Addison, TX, April 21, 2020 – Group CBS, Inc. (GCBS), with commercial interests in electrical supply, field service, and engineering throughout North America, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Schofield as senior vice president of GCBS.
Bill has been with GCBS since 1998, when the company acquired and merged with his small breaker repair company. For 19 years, Bill served as president of Circuit Breaker Sales Co., Inc., and for the last three years he has been president of Advanced Electrical Motor & Controls Inc. (AEAMC).
“Bill has significant experience in the day-to-day operations of our businesses and our industry in general,” says Finley Ledbetter, CEO and chief scientist of GCBS. “He is an active champion and participant for all of our business units, and this new position will allow him to focus on larger macro issues for the Group, such as acquisitions strategy, collaborative relationships, and business development.”
Bill will transition out of his AEAMC role and into his new position with GCBS over the next few months. During this time, a successor for AEMAC will be considered.
